Gulf Breeze Consulting, Inc. is located in downtown Pensacola at 139 East Government Street. The principals of Gulf Breeze Consulting are Daniel Nye, PE and Kenneth Gonzalez, PE who together possess over twenty-five years of experience in the building design and construction industry. Together, they possess a unique and diverse background having worked not only for well-respected local consulting engineering firms, but also a quality HVAC equipment sales representative and a well respected national mechanical contractor.
DANIEL A. NYE, PE
President, Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Nye practiced engineering for Pensacola based engineering firms for many years prior to the formation of Gulf Breeze Consulting being involved in a wide range of commercial, military, school and high-density residential projects. In 2002 he assisted with the formation of the equipment sales division of a local sales representative firm specializing in equipment sales and application engineering. As such, he represented several outside air unit and specialty dehumidification equipment manufacturers gaining extensive knowledge of equipment design. In 2003 Dan formed Gulf Breeze Consulting, Inc. as a part-time venture and became a full time concern in 2007.
KENNETH L. GONZALEZ, P.E., LEED AP
Vice President / Registered Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Gonzalez practiced engineering for several local engineering firms prior to Gulf Breeze Consulting. Kenneth’s experience includes residential, commercial, military and medical projects involving HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems. In 2005, Kenneth developed an animated estimating software system for a local mechanical contractor increasing the potential for profitability and successful bid proposal. In 2008 Kenneth joined the Gulf Breeze Consulting team.
